As a kid, I was called "crazy" for wanting to build a pedal go-kart out of cardboard. The project failed - but the obsession with building never did.
That curiosity eventually led me to pursue Mechanical Engineering, where I built a Mini E-Bike with Automatic Emergency Braking & Pothole Detection System as my final year project. The project went on to win the Best B.Tech Project Award.
But Scoobie Electric did not begin in a classroom. It began by observing a simple everyday reality. Every day, I saw people using bike taxis while feeling uncomfortable - especially women - because physical proximity with the rider often becomes unavoidable. I felt urban mobility could be designed better.
If it is safe for women, it is safe for everyone.
Through Scoobie Electric, I am working toward rethinking urban mobility in India by building electric two-wheelers designed around safety, comfort, dignity, and trust - not just transportation.
